Sounds like a plan to me....

Any questions?

Kyped from Will Shetterly, as is the link to the music I'm listening to right now. Note to Emma & Steve: That really doesn't suck! Jeez, I miss Y'all. Won't you please come to Chicago ("Y'all" includes Will, of course)?

Golly! Three plugs & a desperate invitation in one post. Purty sneaky, eh?

It most definitely is a plan!

I also second the plugs and the desperate invitation. You sly boots, you.

I want the job of line-by-line going through the budget. (I also want a staff to help me.)

A. "I want the job of line-by-line going through the budget."
Glutton for punishment?

B. "I also want a staff to help me."
Drummer on the trireme?

(And hey: invite for you, too, and fredcritter, who sent me the new, improved, spiffed-up icon.)

Sure, I have a question. How come the number used to be $300,000, then it dropped and dropped, eventually reaching $200,000 as specifice in the ad, and most recently the number mentioned by the Obama campaign is $150,000? Also, how come the Obama campaign disabled automated ddress validation on its online credit card donation system? Ooops. Guess that was more than one question. Sorry about that.

So, about that second question
Turns out even Slate (not exactly an anti-O rag) has some stuff to say about it. Hit http://tinyurl.com/5vxh77 and scroll down to points 9 and 10. Shrug. There's a lot of that (shrugging) going around. --MMB

Most recent number mentioned by the Obamans now appears to be #120k. It just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it? --MMB
